Fri 3/6, 9am hike, MST 11.5 mi, Boyce Mill Rd trlhd

Lets go on a long hike Friday morning! Meet at the new MST trailhead parking area on Boyce Mill Road at 9am. Park at the end of Boyce Mill Road (just past 13504 Boyce Mill Road, Durham)
Come prepared to hike BRISKLY at a 3mph pace where possible. Trail is fairly flat, some small hills, a boardwalk here and there. I haven't hiked this route for a while, so there may be some surprises :-)
We will hike the majority of Falls Lake Day Hike K ("The Long Haul"), which normally goes from NC50-NC 98 for a 14.5 mi hike RT. By starting at the new Boyce Mill Rd trailhead, our hike will be trimmed down to 11.5 miles.

If it's drizzling at start time I will hike, pouring rain, I will not. If required for any reason, I'll cancel by 8:00am. (NOTE: This is cross-posted with another Meetup group.)
No small children please, but well-behaved dogs are welcome - must be on a leash and the leash in your hand, per park rules. Have a mask handy for any crowded spots.
