Lets meet Sunday for a nice long hike in the warm weather! Meeting 8:30am at the right side of the Umstead (Harrison side) parking lot, near the steps to the restrooms.

We'll hike the first half of Co Mill, then take a left at the MUT and head over the old I40 bridge to the Black Creek Greenway next to the Old Reedy Creek trailhead parking.

From there, we'll cross over to Crabtree County Park via the hike/bike trail beside the lake, then go beyond the marina and around the lake on the paved greenway, then cross the bridge back to Black Creek Greenway. From there we'll cross back over the old I40 bridge and hike the Co Mill trail back to our cars.

NOTE: If the lake trail is closed due to wetness, we'll add some mileage on the paved greenway side, and make it an out and back hike on that section.

SHORT OPTION: The short option would be to hike to the Old Reedy Creek Trailhead and back, about 6:5 miles.

This hike uses the paved greenway and woods trails. Bring snacks and water, dress appropriately, etc. Will be hiking around 3-3.5 mi per hour.
