Welcome one and all, join your people in conversation and food. At digital defenders we will meet to better ourselves, by sharing tools and techniques to help us pass certifications, pass an interview, or even excel at our current jobs.
As we're a very young meetup, you'll see much change throughout it's course, feel free to share feedback or suggestions to make this meetup THE IE hub for IT and Cybersecurity.
Agenda:
- Do some Kahoots quizzes to see how well we know our A+ (For those looking to pass their A+ cert)
- I'll share my experience in getting hacked (Anyone else can share something like that too)
- Recommendations for first IT job (Single Company, or MSP)
- Handout on how to start a homelab so you have something to talk about in your Interviews
- Bonus for later meetings (I'm gonna make a game where you get hacked, and have to defend your fake bank account)
