Mountain & Adventure Festival Gathering
Details
The 2019 MAFF Gathering (Mountain & Adventure Film Festival) will take place at the Shady Cove Group Campgrounds on Keller Peak in Big Bear, CA September 27th – 29th, 2019.
The MAFF Gathering is a Free 3 day “gateway” festival connecting outdoor enthusiasts and the outdoor curious. “Entering our 5th season, we’re excited to return to our grass roots,” shares Festival Director, Benjamin Oberman. “Our past festivals at Snow Valley Ski Resort, The Notch on Mt. Baldy, and all over Los Angeles were epic! Refocusing on our original community driven mission, we are returning to our idea of an amplified, but still intimate group campout.”
Attendees can campout for the weekend or join us for a day. Hang in the campground or explore the surrounding areas which offer access to climbing, slacklining, yoga in the forest, hiking, trail running, mountain biking, lake swimming, and downhill skateboarding. In the campground relax in our Chill Lounge, enjoy music, friendship, eating, drinking (FREE beer until its gone), and of course, watch awe-inspiring films after dark!
