Duke Energy's Mount Holly Microgrid Innovation Lab Tour

Details
The Mount Holly Microgrid Innovation Lab was established by Duke Energy to help learn how to deploy new technologies for reliability and efficiency as microgrids become more common. The site includes solar panels, battery storage, microturbine gas generator facilities and multiple IT systems for integration. It is also home to important utility work with unmanned aerial systems, EV chargers, smart meters and switchgear. IEEE PES Charlotte Chapter has arranged a tour of the facility and would like to invite interested members to explore the cutting edge of microgrid technology.
