This time we can join the Tokyo Medical English and Japanese Healthcare Professional's meetup and lean about medical expenditure in Japan. This lecture will be in English & Japanese.

This time we will learn about the healthcare cost and reimbursement system of medical care in Japan. *Profile （岡本 敬久;おかもと よしひさ　Yoshihisa Okamoto）
日本経済大学大学院・研究員（a research fellow at graduate school, Japan university of economics）
専攻は医療経済学・薬剤経済学（Major in healthecomonics and pharmacoecomics）

Japan has become super-aging society and medical cost has also increased year by year.
Of course there is insurance coverage, but actually other finance from our pocket and national or local expendiure is spent a lot for medical care.So we absolutely need to allocate our limited resource more efficiently and wisely. This time I would like to show you the present status of medical care in Japan especially from the point of financial view,including how the medical price is decided and how the money is used for medical care. I am also looking forward to having a small discussion on the future outlook of medical care with you all.

日本も本格的な超高齢社会に入り、医療費は増加の一途をたどっています。　医療費そのものは国民が負担している保険でもカバーされていますが、実際にはこのほかにも自己負担や国や自治体からのお金が投じられています。医療における価格はどのように決められ、医療費はどのように使われているのか、また医療における質と効率の向上を目指し日本でどのような方向性が模索されているのかをお話したうえで、実際の医療費のあり方について皆さんと考えてみたいと思います。

Meeting place is next to Shibuya Hikarie. At the main entrance street level of Hikarie, you will see Takoyaki shop "Gindako" near the main entrance.
Please go up the hill between the corner of Gintako and Hikarie building. You will see the sign of the ”ABC駅前会議室” on the right side. ROOM ３０５ on ３F
It is close to JR Shibuya station East Exit. If you use Subway, Exit 15 is the direct access to "Shibuya Hikarie."

JR東口が近いです。地下鉄利用の方は15番出口がヒカリエに直結しています。
