Hack-Days are 4-hour long events where you are given simple starter code to build off of. This month's project is a Frogger Game Clone. You will be given the building blocks to build a simple game clone. Your task is to add creative features, such as a score keeping system, speed modifiers, special items, multiple players, different game characters, etc. Polish it up.
Skeleton Stack: Javascript, HTML, CSS.
How winner will be determined: A panel of judges will score projects based on code structure, code quality, comments, documentation, bugs, overall presentation, visuals and creativity.
Groups will get the chance to present their entry and showcase all features of their game.
Winning group will get a special prize - IESD T-Shirts + Dev Of The Month Title.
Who can participate? Front-end developers, back-end developers, graphic designers, interface designers, project managers, etc. Groups can be created ahead of time. Groups can benefit from having members with different skill sets, just show up and you will be assisted in finding a group to work with.
Rules:
- Max of 5 members to a group. (soft limit - case by case).
- Time limit of 4 hours (3:00pm - 7:00pm).
- Credit all external resources.
- Rules are subject to change.
- Good sportsmanship expected.

3:00 – 7:00 PM – Build
7:00 – 7:30 PM – Demos (3-minute presentations)
7:30 – 8:00 PM – Network
8:00 PM – Winners Selected and Announced
