Speaker Bio:

Daniel Eberhard is the founder and CEO of KOHO, one of Canada’s
leading challenger banks, built to challenge the country’s highly
concentrated banking industry. A serial entrepreneur, Daniel is known for
building mission-driven businesses that scale quickly and rethink legacy
markets.

Under Daniel’s leadership, KOHO has raised more than $486 million,
reached over 2 million unique users, surpassed $100 million in revenue,
and grown to 250 employees. The company now also offers global
money transfers to more than 190 countries.

Before founding KOHO in 2014, Daniel co-founded Kineticor Renewables,
a wind energy company that developed $50 million in projects before its
acquisition by Algonquin Power in 2011. He then spent several years
angel investing in early-stage startups and mentoring founders.

Daniel brings a unique lens to the conversation, one shaped by over a decade of building companies, utilising the power of emerging technologies, and building products that stand out in crowded markets.
