OrcaJam is Victoria’s annual 48 hour game jam. Come join local and visiting designers, developers, programmers, artists and musicians of all skill levels to make a game from scratch in only 48 hours! Space Is Limited!
You should come if:
You've started but never finished a game
You've never released a game
You're not the greatest programmer ever
You want to make a board game/tabletop RPG/not-a-video-game - all games are welcome!
You should especially come if you're a digital artist!
If you're new to programming, you should check out one of Canada Learning Code's workshops. This game jam is not a class, if you want to make a videogame you need to be able to code already.
You should bring:
Whatever you like to use to make games! For lots of people that's a laptop with Unity or GameMaker installed on it, but board games, card games, and any other game that you can build and play at a table is welcome.
