What we’re about
IIK (Institut für Internationale Kommunikation) Deutschland e. V. is a higher-education-oriented educational provider that designs and conducts professional development programs in close coordination with universities and businesses. In addition, we offer our international course participants a diverse leisure and cultural program. For example, we organise monthly events like board-game nights, bowling evenings and museum visits, as well as activities like excursions to local festivities such as the Carnival parade or the Düsseldorf Rheinkirmes. During the summer months we even do excursions to cities near to Düsseldorf, like Amsterdam, Bruges and Luxembourg. Many of our activities are free of charge, while others, like the excursions to other cities, require a fee.
Through our Meetup group we aim to connect our international course participants with the wider community in and around the city of Düsseldorf and to raise awareness of IIK´s Free-time and culture program offerings. All are welcome and we look forward to meeting you at one of our events!
