From Zero to Hero – Best Practices from Cloud Native GitOps Projects

We're meeting at aifora in Düsseldorf to talk about CloudOps!

The migration of an existing IT infrastructure landscape towards a cloud-native GitOps approach is a big challenge for most CloudOps/ DevOps teams. We keep seeing teams that want to reinvent the wheel or that do not stick to simple principles such as https://12factor.net or KISS.

This sometimes has catastrophic consequences. But where to start? Where are the pitfalls? We will provide answers to such questions in this talk. We will show you our open-source setup, which works independently of the cloud and which we use for all our customers.

During the talk I will show you a live demo, we will start from scratch bootstrapping the cloud and kubernetes and within 30 minutes we will multiple services (e.g., traefik, kafka, kyverno, etc.) online by using ArgoCD and helm.
