Druid is a powerful distributed, high performance, column-oriented data store that is changing the way companies power real-time BI. In this meetup, we’ll cover the main components of Druid and share our story migrating our statistics store into Druid. Using live demos and an open playground available to attendees, we’ll show you how Druid helped Singular scale our data pipeline and reduce ad-hoc query time by 15X.

We will provide an introduction to what is Druid and when to use it.
We will also cover our own usage and the HUGE performance improvements we experienced
18:35 - 19:15: Druid Querying Workshop (Hebrew)
We’ll setup an open playground with Druid available to everyone in attendance.
We’ll cover Druid Querying from the basics to advanced features (lookups, extraction functions, etc.)
