Can you believe we are at the last meetup of 2026?! I can hardly believe it, but that's true! On November 17, we are closing our 2026 season, and we hope for a grand finale! Our program includes a replay of one of the best PG DATA 2026 talks, an overview of PG Conf.EU and Prairie Postgres' second birthday celebration!

Talk abstract:
This talk explores PostgreSQL’s built-in statistics collection system, focusing on the powerful pg_stat_* views. You will learn how to use these views to gain insights into I/O patterns, query execution behavior, and overall resource utilization.
The session will also cover recent enhancements to PostgreSQL’s statistics framework, providing administrators and developers with tools to monitor, understand, and optimize database workloads.

Notes about our new venue.

We are delighted to have an independent venue for the first time since I am hosting the meetups, and hope that this will be our permanent home. And as you all know, with more freedom comes more responsibilities.

- You will notice the change in the RSVP form.
- We are thankful to our hosts and promise to be responsible.
- We comply with the PostgreSQL Code of Conduct.
- We do not want to waste food, so please indicate your dietary preferences.
- We will not close RSVPs on the morning of the meetup, but please do your best to RSVP in advance so we can order the appropriate amount of food and drinks.
- We have space for older kids to hang out, and we have on-site childcare. If you plan to use childcare, please RSVP indicating the need at least a week in advance, and we will get back to you with more details.

This meetup will be hybrid. The livestream start time is 6 PM
