The Fight Got Tougher

Details

It became tougher for all of us to affect legislation making its way through the Illinois General Assembly.

Last week, almost two dozen bills IRPOA has been watching for you moved out of the committee process and onto the floors of the Senate and House. Now, all the legislators are involved instead of the few in the various committees.

This is why you need to remain engaged. Every voice and contact with elected officials is even more important now.

On Monday, March 31, beginning at 7:00 p.m., we’ll talk about bills that are still active and what are the next steps to take.

• Protected Classes – Screening restrictions
• Criminal Trespass
• Mobile Home – Utilities and Rent Caps
• Eviction of Minors
• Carpet Stewardship
• Combustible Gas Detectors
• Human Rights

We start Monday, March 31, at 7:00 p.m.

This interactive session prepares you to communicate with your Senator, Representative, Mayor, Council member, or any elected official who shapes the laws and ordinances that affect you!
