Keep Your Stride | Winning the Legislation Race

Details
You know the story. The tortoise won because it kept a steady pace. When it comes to legislation that affects you, your clients, your business, and your family, you must do the same.
The House and Senate in Springfield are on summer recess. This means you have an opportunity to stay in the stride of making your voice heard.
Many of our Representatives and Senators are up for election. Almost all elected officials use this time to be out and about in their districts, attending fairs, holding town hall meetings, going door-to-door to talk to constituents, and hosting fundraisers.
Their public presence gives you an advantage. Your elected officials are more accessible to you. More importantly, they know they need to court your vote. They are motivated to listen to your message and have respectful discussions with you.
Please spend some time with us on Monday, July 28, discussing some of the important issues. Leave the session with ideas of how to address the issues with your legislators.
Highlights of our virtual meeting are
- Updates on what the Governor and Legislators are touting as the "Squatter Law"
- Why Small Owners Need IRPOA
- Senior Ordinance Proposal
- What is the price of over-regulation?
- . . . and your comments, observations, and concerns.
It's happening on Monday, June 28, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
This interactive session prepares you to communicate with your Senator, Representative, Mayor, Councilmember, or any elected official who shapes the laws and ordinances that affect you!
