Legislators in Springfield demonstrated once again they'd rather be reckless with your real estate investments than responsible to you as a constituent. They ignored the Illinois Constitution so they could control your business.

Article IV, section 8, requires bills, including amendments to them, to be read on three different days, regardless of whether it is a regular session or a veto session. Your State Senators made three amendments to HB3564, the Rental Fee Transparency and Fairness Act, during the last two days of their session, passed two out of committee, and voted on them on the last day.

This demonstrates their disregard for you and how badly they want to dominate your investments.

HB3564 did not pass during the Veto Session, and is still very much alive. We expect it to be considered in the Spring.

Use Your Leverage

The General Assembly is in recess until January. This is a critical time for you to influence decision-makers. Why? Because many Senators and Representatives are facing election campaigns. They are in their districts, holding town halls, and listening.

On Monday, November 24th, we will:

Highlight the Impact: Discuss how HB3564, aka the "Junk Fees Bill" and other regulations will burden you and your business.
Your Strategy: Provide talking points you need to address your legislators effectively this month.
Action Plan: Turn your frustration into powerful political influence before the January session begins.

The Most Vulnerable Must Join

If you own just one rental, you are the most vulnerable target. Small owners are easily crushed by this kind of regulatory confusion and overreach. We need you, and frankly, you need this essential defense briefing.

Please invite every fellow housing provider you know. We are stronger together. This training is the only way to secure your assets and protect your rental income.

This event is brought to you by the Chicago Creative Investors Association.
