Five decades ago the three major paradigms of software were discovered. In 1968 Dijkstra discovered Structured Programming. Dahl and Nygaard discovered Object Oriented Programming in 1966. And McCarthy discovered Functional Programming in 1958. What have we learned since then? How do those paradigms impact us today?
