About us
A Course in Miracles is a spiritual masterwork, an extraordinary mind-science of enlightenment designed to awaken the human mind; the sleeping Son of God. Its sole purpose is to restore to awareness the power and glory of the Self created in and by God in everlasting holiness and peace.
It aims to save time in the inevitable Self-realisation of the Eternal Truth. It trains the individual consciousness to accept the Guide who transforms perception and leads to direct knowledge of the Mind of Christ and reunion with the Creator.
The Course is founded upon the learning of the meaning of True Forgiveness as a means to restore to mind the perfect Love of God. True Forgiveness, in essence, constitutes the reversal of an individual’s cause and effect relationship with the world of perception. It teaches that the cause of all phenomena, our perceptions, our feelings and everything we experience in the world is not outside ourselves.

True forgiveness is a lesson found in all things and all situations. These lessons are convincing restatements of the inherent sinless nature of the mind, wherein its power and holiness are restored and the thought-system of the ego undone. This is the healing of the mind by accepting responsibility for causation within and opening the hidden altar where God’s peace and truth are found to abide untouched by time or circumstance.

Its memory does not lie in the past, nor waits in the future. It is not revealed in miracles. They but remind you that It has not gone. The Call to Freedom - with Simon Christopher
AMMERDOWN CENTRE, BA3 5SW, Radstock, Bath, GBA three-day weekend experience on the essential teachings, principles and practices of A Course in Miracles with Simon Christopher at the Ammerdown Centre, Radstock, near Bath in Somerset. This is an invitation to join a joyfully focused in-person healing group event for discovering the true meaning of freedom, and to add your voice to its song of rejoicing.

Each one yearns to find the freedom they have lost, seeking in their own way for that hidden treasure. Is not freedom, finally simply being yourself? To be yourself is to know your Self and your Source. Freedom lies in laying aside the little self-will and accepting the Will you share with God as all there is and all you want to be.
For the ego it is inherently difficult, this act of surrender and acceptance in letting this be true, for it is its whole undoing. Only in God, the wholly unlimited, can we find our Will and our freedom, its creative and limitless power, and its everlasting joy. Not all who claim to have found the way to freedom have found the real treasure. Upon examination what is mistakenly called by freedom’s name is tinged with fear, restrictive, conditional or limited. Freedom can be found only in the Eternal and unlimited nature of Mind untouched by the dark dream of sin, fear and guilt.***
“And now the ego is afraid. Yet what it hears in terror, the other part hears as the sweetest music; the song it longed to hear since first the ego came into your mind. The ego’s weakness is its strength. The song of freedom, which sings the praises of another world, brings to it hope of peace.
