Jeju Island for Lunar New Year

Details
We will have a Lunar New Year holiday getaway on the beautiful and warm Jeju Island. The long Lunar New Year celebration starts on January 28th and ends on January 30th, 2025.
We will depart at 7.00PM on Thursday night, January 27th ,and will be back on January 30th. Unlike the mainland Korea, Jeju Island is much warmer in winter, except for Halla Mountain. If hiking is your thing, Hallasan will be an eye-opener with spectacular views of snow and landscape! Hiking to Hallasan is not mandatory. If you are not hiking, you can fully enjoy the tour.
► FUN FACTS
Did you know that Jeju Island is one of the Seven Wonders of Nature in the world? Jeju Island holds the distinction of being Korea’s sole UNESCO Natural Heritage Site. Jeju Island was formed by volcanic eruptions that took place roughly two million years ago.
HIGHLIGHTS
You’ll be amazed by how beautiful Jeju Island is. There are so many places to see and things to do.
To fulfill your holiday dreams, let’s take advantage of this amazing chance to explore the picturesque, warm, and sunny Jeju Island. Come join us and invite your friends as well! It’s okay if you come alone, it’s a great way to make new friends who also enjoy traveling.
► SEONGSAN SUNRISE PEAK(UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site)
Take in the breathtaking views from the distinctive crater of Seongsan Sunrise peak. Hot lava mixing with cold ocean water has created a significant crater. The summit offers views of Udo Island.
► HALLASAN MOUNTAIN & HIKING(optional)(UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site)
Hiking in Hallasan(South Korea’s highest mountain) is an incredible experience that will never be forgotten. The mountain is covered in snow, alpine flora, and lush trees, and can be seen from every location on the island. This will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience with snow everywhere. It feels like you are in a snow wonderland.
When signing up, please inform us if you’re interested in hiking at Hallasan Mountain as a reservation is required.
► JEJU OLLE SEACOAST TRAILS WALK WITH OEDOLGAE LONELY ROCK
The Oedolgae seacoast trail, which offers breathtaking ocean views, is believed to be the most stunning among all 22 Olle seacoast trails.
► UDO ISLAND
There are many beautiful shorelines, beaches, and lovely scenery on Udo Island. Udo Island is an interesting place off the coast of Juju. It’s a one-of-a-kind place, and there’s no place like it anywhere else. The coastal road circles Udo Island’s entire area. Udo is known for their peanut ice cream as their specialty.
JUSANGJEOLLI LAVA CLIFFS
The formation of this rock pillar is impressive due to basaltic lava. Stacked up like giant stairs, the hexagonal rock formation is so geometrically carved that it seems hand-made.
The high tide waves hitting the side of the cliff gives a stunning view of the ocean surrounding the pillars. There have been many comparisons made between the Jusangjeolli Lava cliff and the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland.
► HAMDEOK BEACH
Hamdeok Beach is considered to be among Jeju’s top three beaches. The beach is well-known for its stunning view of emerald-blue waters, tropical breeze, tall palm trees, and white sandy shore. Seeing this beach might convince you that Jeju Island is the ‘Hawaii of Korea’.
► SEOPJIKKOJI
The seacoast’s scenic view with a lighthouse is what makes Seopjikoji famous. Seongsan Ilchulbong serves as a popular backdrop for filming.
O’Seollok Green Tea Fields (One of the popular tea fields)
