ILUGD is excited to collaborate with OpenStreetMap Delhi for a hands-on Mapping Party, bringing together open-source enthusiasts, students, and curious minds to contribute to one of the world’s most important open data projects.

A mapping party is an opportunity for everyone to learn about OpenStreetMap—why it matters, how it is used globally, and how you can help improve map data for the benefit of everyone. Participants will learn simple, practical ways to collect and edit geographic data using their smartphones, while collaborating with the community on real-world mapping tasks.

No prior mapping experience is required—just curiosity and the willingness to contribute to open data.
