We've had thousands of Meetups since starting in 2011! I'M NOT DEAD YET --- 50+ MEETUP is a fun way to find active new friends with similar interests. We organize a wide range of interesting events on weekdays as well as on weekends. Couples and singles will enjoy our Meetups. Though most of our members are single, we're not a "Singles" group. NO DUES OR MEETUP CHARGES, but individual events may involve costs. Members ages range from the late 40s up.

CAMP ROCK The Musical - Based on the hit Disney Channel movies, two bands battle it out in a rockin' summer they will never forget.
A classic story of rivalry and power, Disney's Camp Rock: The Musical opens with Mitchie and her friends arriving at Camp Rock, ready to spend another summer jamming out and having the time of their lives. But the new, flashy Camp Star across the lake now threatens Camp Rock's very existence. To keep the doors open, Mitchie steps up, rallies her fellow Camp Rockers and gets them into top shape for the ultimate showdown!

CYT Youth Theater produces several professional quality musical theater productions each year in different areas in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. Each production stars an auditioned cast of up to 120 talented students ages 8-18 who are currently enrolled in CYT performing arts classes
You will be amazed by the talent, enthusiasm, and poise of these young performers.

Metropolitan Opera on Tape - Le Nozze di Figaro - Mozart, 1786.
Wednesday, April 30th, 6:15-10pm.
World premiere: Burgtheater, Vienna, 1786. A profoundly humane comedy, Le Nozze di Figaro is a remarkable marriage of Mozart’s music at the height of his genius and one of the best librettos ever set. In adapting a play that caused a scandal with its revolutionary take on 18th-century society, librettist Lorenzo Da Ponte focused less on the original topical references and more on the timeless issues embedded in the frothy drawing-room comedy.
Seville, the setting of Le Nozze di Figaro and its prequel, The Barber of Seville, was famous in Mozart’s time as a place filled with hot-blooded young men and exotically beautiful women sequestered behind latticed windows, or “jalousies” (which gave us our English word “jealousy”). The city was the birthplace of the Don Juan legends, which Mozart and Da Ponte would mine for their subsequent masterpiece, Don Giovanni. The current Met production of Le Nozze di Figaro places the action in the 1930s.
