8/27 - Partial Lunar ๐ Eclipse ๐ญ visible across continental USA
Details
Another lunar eclipse! This one isn't quite total. NO GLASSES NEEDED!
Weather permitting of course! I'll update this by noon the day of the event with any changes.
Both the Henize Observatory (Harper College - Palatine) and the Cernan Earth & Space Center (Triton College - River Grove) will have eclipse watch events.
I'm going to Henize as it's closer, but you can go to either one, or watch from home!
Visible eclipse starts at 9:33pm. Peak is at 11:12pm End is just before 1am if you really want to stay up late.
