Monologues: Workshop and Performance
Details
This is an open call for participants to join a group creating a performance of monologues using devised theatre approach.
You will be presented with a guided process, through which will explore your personality as a character and use it as an inspiration for the monologue and the performance.
The process will culminate in a public stage performance (40โ60 minutes) at O LUGAR [Plamilha Dentada].
No experience needed: Many people with no prior acting or stage experience have done this before you. All it takes is a bit of courage, curiosity, and a commitment to show up. This is not a traditional drama course โ this is you doing you with the support of our facilitators in a group of people doing the same thing, together. The group needs you exactly as you are.

Facilitator: Agita Jaunzeme - a group facilitator. I work with intuition, feelings, guidance on an individual and group level, finding methods to discover the common symbol in the group using theories: Gestalt Approach, Systemic Approach, the theory of Transactional Analysis, Physical Theatre, natural body movement, dance, and a personal neverending curiosity and admiration of the beauty of people being their authentic selves. So, in this course, you don't need to act - you are you.
