Immodest Proposals XVIII: The Kickstarter Life

Hi everyone! WE ARE BACK.

We have something very special planned for this relaunch event. Entrepreneur Anthony Conta, designer of the game FUNEMPLOYED, will be talking to us about independent game design and the Kickstarter culture, followed by ~45 minutes of playtesting his game, where players try to get jobs using qualifications ranging from the inane to the insane. Afterwards, we will discuss the future of crowdfunded enterprise, which has been a major cultural trend and appears to be here to stay.

Following the event, Mr. Conta will remain at Think Coffee for a little while to socialize.

This time, we are meeting at Think Coffee at 248 Mercer Street, which has a full selection of coffee, wine, and beer, as well as some pastries.
