SLUGME 9

Details

SLUGME has become a yearly tradition within the SOLIDWORKS User Group Network. This is the most significant SWUGN event of the year, with one-of-a-kind content and thousands of attendees. If you want more history on SLUGME, check out this blog about last year's event.
The plan for SLUGME9 is to depict the design and build process from the perspective of an advanced maker. In this example, we retrofitted a Bowhead battery-powered electric drivetrain to a three-wheeled drift machine. We sourced many parts from vendors and designed and machined many parts in-house.
Fast forward to September. We designed and created two truly awesome electric drift karts. Everything was fully designed in SOLIDWORKS by the SLUGME team.
Tune into SLUGME9 on October 24th at 11am est to see this design and build live from the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab in Waltham. We will walk through the entire build process as we play the role of a skilled Maker using our tools to build something truly awesome.
