IMPACT BOOK CLUB is a community for readers who believe politics shows up in everyday life: in our social circles, workplaces, families, and digital worlds. The way people treat one another, use their voice, and make choices is part of social politics—quiet but powerful actions that shape what becomes normal, acceptable, or possible in a society.
We will read fiction and nonfiction that reveal how ordinary lives are affected by laws, borders, economies, and culture, and how people push back or create change. Together, we will explore what impacts our lives and how we, in turn, can influence governance, national boundaries, and our capacity to connect with other humans across the world.
