Come find out if the economist David McWilliams was ever able to write an enthralling, and entertaining history of money that seems as if to have time traveled to and fro and intersecting with modern day experiences and mindsets all over the globe.
Let's begin discussing the book up to Chapter 3.
We decided to take a "slow meandering ride" with this juicy book, as it's seems to have all that we wished we knew about money, the way it influences human behavior, and some "nutrient rich, easily digestible nuggets around economics.
Bring to book club: a list of 3-5 ah's, delights, or "golden nuggets", topics, perspectives that called your brain to "lean forward" into discovery.
- We will each talk about 1 (or more if we have time) as we imagine who and how brought these financial and economic concepts to being.
- And having read what you read in these 1st chapters...let your mind wonder what the future of money will be like as it continues or perhaps ceases to exist?!?!?
