International Day of Peace 2025 - Geneva
As adults and parents, we are the architects of the future.
We teach our children everything, and the most powerful lessons are not in what we say, but in what we do.

How do we teach them peace? We give the example

The Geneva Peace Walk is a simple yet profound action you can take to embody your values. It’s a conscious choice to step away from the chaos and actively generate an energy of calm and reconciliation.
This isn't a passive wish for peace; it is the practice of it.

By walking, you are making a powerful statement. You are demonstrating to your children that one person, one step at a time, can contribute to a more harmonious world.

Join us. Let's walk with intention, with strength, and with the quiet determination that defines parenthood.
Let's create a memory with our children that will shape their understanding of strength and compassion for years to come.

Who We Are:

This year, 2025, is very special as it marks the 80th anniversary of the UN. On this occasion, we wish to affirm our commitment to the universal principles and values of the United Nations Charter, international law, and the Geneva Conventions, while understanding current global developments.
We are also committed to the respect of these international foundations, notably the enforcement of decisions by the International Criminal Court in the regions most affected and devastated by war and genocide.
We are convinced that this 44th International Day of Peace in 2025 should not be just another 24-hour truce, but a reflection on a more sustainable Culture of Peace in every country, particularly those whose populations have suffered the consequences of war for far too long.
The year 2025 also marks the commemoration of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. In this spirit, we invite governments to consider the message of the Hibakusha, the survivors of the bomb, whose call of "Never again" has inspired Nobel Peace Prize-winning movements.
To build a sustainable future for all, it is essential to reflect on the world's enormous military expenditures. The urgency is to guarantee fundamental human rights, to respect our beautiful planet and all its inhabitants, and to promote an education in the culture of peace for everyone.
