Improv theatre workshop for beginners

Spend an afternoon filled with fun and laughter. Meet new people and open yourself to new challenges.

WHAT IS THE WORKSHOP ALL ABOUT?
We will Learn the basic principles of improvisational theatre by experiencing improv games that help develop:

1. Creativity
2. Spontaneity
3. Public speaking skills
4. Adaptability in unexpected situations

HOW DOES THE WORKSHOP LOOK LIKE?
No acting or stage experience is needed. We start the session with some fun warm-up. Followed by a series of games and scenes designed to improve:

1. Verbal skills (storytelling, character development, supporting your partner, thinking on your feet).
2. Non-verbal skills (miming, expressing emotions, physical presence).

In our workshops, there is:

• No pressure to be funny, original, or perfect—the focus is on having fun, taking risks, and embracing mistakes.
• No need to speak perfect English or participate in every exercise. You can engage at your own pace.

WHO ARE YOU?

• I have been practicing improv theater since 2012 and teaching it since 2015.

AND THE COST IS…?

• 10 EUR per person
• Pay directly to the organizer at the event.
• Payment options: cash or PayPal.

WHERE SHOULD I COME TO?

• Acht Töne Musik – Große Seestraße 32, 60486 Frankfurt
• Five minutes walk from Leipziger U-Bahn station and S-Bahn Westbahnhof.
• Go to the top floor, left door, go to Room 1.

WHAT TO BRING

• Comfortable clothes that let you move freely. (Jeans are still fine, it’s not yoga)
• An extra t-shirt in case you want to change after moving around.
• A bottle of water or any drink to stay hydrated.
• A light snack if you think you’ll need a little energy boost.
