Office Hours: Ask a Mentor about User Research

WHAT IS IT?
Have a question about User Research? Come meet with and ask a research mentor on Feb 12! We’ll hold a speed-dating style 1-on-1 session in addition to group research chats, featuring a diverse panel with a spectrum of experiences: from student to principal/director.

HOW WILL THE EVENT WORK:
The event will run for 60 mins with 15 min slots. Mentees will sign up when the doors to the event open, picking a mentor to chat with and ask their question(s). We will also have group sessions running where you can chat with mentors and fellow researchers, ask questions, or sit in and listen.

WHO SHOULD COME:
Researchers and designers who perform research. All levels are welcome from those interested in the profession to senior level (researchers & designers). Product owners/managers and/or devs who work with researchers and designers.

Itinerary (tentative):
5:45 - doors open, sign-up for mentors begin
6:30 - sign-ups are closed
6:40 - event begins
7:40 - event ends
7:50 - mingling
9:00 - event ends
