How bringing a Systems Thinking lens can transform delivery work and outcomes

Details
Hi all,
It has been a while we connected at the Delivery Leadership meetup, and I am hoping to have many virtual and in-person events in 2024.
Let's welcome 2024 with a talk that may help us broaden our horizons and help us deliver our projects successfully. I am pleased that we are starting the year with a talk from respected Systems Thinker and practitioner, Pauline Roberts.
Abstract:
Our world of work is pressured and changeable. We strive for appropriate outcomes and yet sometimes the odds are staked against us. Reduced budgets, increased demands, turnover of staff, poor organisational structures and processes which lack co-ordination, amongst other things, can all significantly challenge us. In all of this, of course, there is a human element, because none of this exists without humans. So how might a systems thinking lens help us as we strive for successful delivery? The diversity of thinking that falls under the term ‘system thinking’ can be overwhelming and at the same time it can open us up to a wider range of options for action and improvement. In this session we will explore how we might use a systems thinking lens as we strive for successful outcomes.
