Roger is going to go over what to know when you are writing a contract.
One thing I have found in this business is, many investors and a ton of realtors have no idea how to fill out a contract, I am not an Attorney nor do I practice law, what we will be going over in this lesson is for information purposes only. Please seek legal help if you do not understand your contracts.
Can an Investor write their own contract? Yes, maybe, non-licensed investors can use any form they like unless restricted by your State, an investor can write the agreement on a napkin or just get a contract off the internet, but once again you will be working with a Title company and being they could be held somewhat liable for your contract they will most likely ask you to rewrite the contract using a contract they are familiar with. Also, any in most States the contract you use does not have to be written by an attorney, unless your State requires that, just ask your Title Company, they will know
