How We Live is How We Die

For our second Impermanence Book Club Meetup we will explore How We Live is How We Die by Pema Chodron. As much as we may try to resist, endings happen in every moment- the end of a breath, the end of a day, and ultimately the end of life. Accompanying each ending is a beginning, although it may be unclear what the beginning holds. This book is full of wisdom for working with the flow of life- learning to live with each, joy and compassion through uncertainty, embracing new beginnings, and ultimately preparing for death with curiosity and openness rather than fear.

As always, the book is intended to generate ideas for discussion. I will bring some questions to ponder from the reading and invite all to do the same. Remember to just bring your open mind, open heart and kindness and respect for everyone else.
