METRO & PARKING INFO :

Closest Metro Station is U Street Cardozo (Please take 13th St. Exit). Also, please take into account Metro's Weekend Track Work & Service Adjustments. Check it on http://www.wmata.com/ and plan accordingly.

Street parking might be difficult. However, if you plan to drive, there is a parking garage, under the building, right across the street from Lost Society, on U St. (Franklin D. Reeves Center Garage, 2000 14th NW, Washington DC). They are open up until 3 am and it costs $ 15 plus tax. Tel 202-265-0010.

Gryphon is a Meat & Raw Bar Social House. These words encompass the entire dining experience presented at the Gryphon.

The Meat & Raw Bar Food Experience

The food experience is meat-centric with a heavy emphasis on beef. But the menu includes a variety of options for pork, lamb, seafood and, of course, an outstanding oyster based raw bar that includes shrimp, lobster and clams.

The philosophy, is to bring out the experience of enjoying the meats and other food on the menu through two things:

The Preparation - such as curing, grilling, broiling, roasting and aging; and

The Presentation - EVERYTHING is plated to share or “pre-cut.” We encourage all of our guests to order with that in mind. Social House

In a nutshell social dining provides our guests with exceptional food and drink (specially crafted cocktails, selected beers and wine) and puts them together in a lively, fun, and energetic atmosphere at the Gryphon.

HOW IT WORKS : We will give out name tags and you write your name and your industry/sector/specialization. However we don't guarantee the availability of a partner in that area. DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR BUSINESS CARD.

Rules to abide :

1. Event is free and 21+ (bring ID).
2. Be respectful to your counterparts and give them a chance to connect with others as well.
3. We all are professionals in one or two fields and be willing to share your knowledge and experience to others and try to accommodate as much as possible.
4. If you don't belong the other person's required specialization, LEAVE THEM ALONE.
5. Rude or aggressive members are removed from the group at an organizers discretion.
6. This is a face-to-face networking event. DO NOT try to arrange an online meeting, by using the comment box or direct message.
7. Most of our members complained about people writing in the comment box. Since it sends notification to all attendees. If you have any questions, send a message to the organizers. Don't write in the comment box.
8. We have ZERO TOLERANCE for solicitation. We don't allow anyone to run their own agenda at the Event. If you are interested to promote/sponsor/collaborate; contact us via (info@merevents.com).
9. When you get there, we will greet you and take you to your respective group.
10. Please be patient for the first 30 minutes, up until we form a group with your respective industry/sector.

AFTER THE HAPPY HOUR, WE HIT THE DANCE FLOOR! BRING YOUR DANCING SHOES, WE WILL DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY!
