Improv guest workshop + showcase "Clap-In" form with Michael Churven

ImproNation invites Michael Churven, a teacher, performer, and director like no other from The Groundlings, Los Angeles!

He is visiting us again to teach a workshop on the 'Clap-In' form, a style of long-form improv that uses flexibility to spark creative impulses, freedom, and spontaneity. The improv players begin with a starter scene, and the form then sets in motion a cannon for comedic ideas that gathers momentum as the improv players build on ideas, create twists, and 'follow the fun'.

He will teach us over two days and end with a showcase. Here are the dates and times:

• 11th of May: workshop between 11:00 - 18:00 (1 hour lunch)
• 17th of May: workshop between 11:00 - 18:00 (1 hour lunch)
• 17th of May: showcase between 19:30 - 20:30

The workshop is reserved for improvisers with 3 years of experience or more.
