About us
Improv Games Night for Nervous Newcomers is built for people who think improv sounds fun and terrifying in roughly equal measure. We play short-form games in a small, supportive room where the only real rule is that nobody is trying to be the funniest person there. The point is to get comfortable saying yes, listening properly, and making something up with another person without overthinking it.
Most people arrive without any experience and quite a few arrive fairly anxious, which is entirely normal and passes faster than you would expect. Sessions are warm, low-stakes, and full of the kind of failures that turn out to be the best part of the evening. Some members go on to take classes or join teams, and plenty just keep coming because it is a genuinely good way to spend a couple of hours. No performance, no audience, no experience needed.
