Improv Workshop -- Beginners and Intermediate -- IN-PERSON

Introductory and Intermediate Improv Workshop -- This is an in-person event. Beginners and all skill levels are welcome. For the first hour, we will start with short-form games and the principles and concepts of improvisation. For the final half hour, we will focus on improvisational scene work in more depth. All are welcome to watch and participate. We are going to move around and have fun ! Casual dress is recommended, but it's ok to come still dressed in your business suit or tux if necessary. No need to bring anything besides yourself and your willingness to improvise. However, this is outdoors in a park, and you may want to bring a towel or folding chair if you'd like to sit down, and water and a snack as there are no vending machines. Carlson Park is located at the intersection of Motor and Braddock in Culver City, two blocks south of Sony Studios and Backstage Bar. The address for Google Maps is 4233 Motor Avenue, Culver City, Calif. 90232. We will meet at the bathroom building on Motor and find a shady spot to work during these sunny days. This event is free.
