Improv Outing to ComedySportz

Since the regular Improv in the Park is pushed back 1 week, let's have an outing to go watch some improv together! It's fun to shout out suggestions and see the teams work together on stage. *Note: We are not participating in the improv--just participating as audience members.

Let's meet at 7pm at the tables/arcade space just outside the room--or come earlier on your own if you want some arcade time!

If people are comfortable with buying tickets together, I can get us a discount for a group of 6+ people. Send me a message if you'd like to Venmo/PayPal/Zelle by Thursday 6pm, and I'll purchase the tickets seated together.

What to Expect:
Two teams of comedians compete for laughter and points, MCed by a referee, playing improvised short form games that demonstrate characters, actions, narratives, and challenging attributes designed to elicit chaotic, hilarious choices by the improvisors.

The pace of the show, called a "match" is conducted by the referee, who wears a striped referee jersey and who sports a whistle, a penalty flag, and a stopwatch.

An announcer/sound/video producer keeps and displays team scores as well as game-introduction jingles and graphics. Optionally, a musician, for musical games accompaniment.
