## Why Play?
Pixar, Stanford, IDEO, Forbes, the New York Times, Harvard Business Review and many other organizations have touted the benefits of practicing improv (i.e. imaginative play) in the workplace and in everyday life.
But what’s the deal?
How does imaginative play help us?
### Imaginative Play Helps People:
- listen and be present
- improve communication
- tap into creativity and imagination
- relieve anxiety and release tension
- increase their empathy
- celebrate mistakes and be kinder to themselves.
- be more resilient and deal with uncertainty and rapid change
- make your partners look good
- collaborate on teams more effectively
- YES AND in addition to all these reasons, improv is FUN!
