Simpson's paradox

A: Starting around 7PM HK local time i(f you see 7PM CST, it's a Meetup bug).

Q: Will this event really happen?
A: if at least 2-3 people sign up.

In this hands-on workshop I will:
- explain what Simpson's paradox is
- how to understand it and recognize it
- how it can be used to manipulate you in real life

Depending on the audience it will be either just me talking or we will have an in-class assignments

All ages and math levels are welcome. You only need to know some basic arithmetic and be curious to learn!
