What’s the course about?
This Intermediate-friendly course is your progression of the craft of improvisation — no scripts, no pressure, just you and the moment. Improv is a powerful way to reconnect with your creativity, let go of self-consciousness, and build confidence in a relaxed, social setting.

Along the way, you’ll develop skills that carry far beyond the stage — from public speaking to everyday conversations — all while meeting like-minded people and having a lot of fun.

Each session is packed with engaging exercises, games, and collaborative activities designed to develop:

- Spontaneity and quick thinking
- Communication and active listening
- Creativity and storytelling
- Confidence and playfulness

You’ll also create short scenes and sketches, working in pairs and small groups in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

What do I need? Do I need experience?
Just bring yourself — exactly as you are. This course is designed as a follow up to a beginners course, so some experience is required.
Check out my Beginners Courses here: Unscripted London

This course is perfect for those with some experience wanting to progress and further themselves, and equally valuable if you’re returning to improv and want to loosen up, reconnect, or sharpen your skills.

Improv is all about connecting with others in the moment — if that appeals to you, you’ll fit right in.

(Some exercises may involve light physical activity. If you have any concerns, please check with a medical professional beforehand.)

To get the most from the course, you’ll be willing to: - Take part in group activities and discussions - Listen, respond, and stay open to new ideas - Support others and receive constructive feedback - Work safely in pairs and small groups

What will I achieve?
By the end of the course, you can expect to:
- Feel more confident in social and professional situations - Communicate more clearly and spontaneously
- Think on your feet with greater ease
- Express yourself more freely and creatively
- Be part of a supportive, like-minded community

We’ll dive into theatre games, acting warm-ups, and icebreakers, followed by short, light-hearted scenes — spontaneous fun! 💥

🎯 Our aims:

  • Build self-confidence in social settings
  • Make new connections 👋
  • Push your comfort zone 💪

* This venue is wheelchair accessible
🚪 Finding the Peel:
The Peel is situated on the corner of Northampton Road and Corporation Row.
From Farringdon Road; walk to the end of Bowling Green Lane and it's on your left. Please note; Northampton Road is a sort of U shape so if you find yourself at the other end of the U, and are confused you probably need to walk to the other end - just a few mins.

🚇 Tube: Farringdon or Angel

📞 If you get lost, call 07841 456974 – but note: my phone will be off once the session starts, so try to arrive on time or a little early!
Please RSVP — or you may be refused entry, thanks!

👕 What to wear:
Anything you like! There’ll be some movement, so looser/comfy clothing is ideal — but there’s no dress code.
