POWER IN PERFORMANCE!

Sunday 5th October 1pm sharp to around 6pm City Gate Hotel
This is for people with some experience of Improv as you will be invited to be bold! - do contact if you are not sure if it is for you or want to ask a few questions. My number is 07989 564660.
We will have a class from 1pm to around 4.30pm with a short break in the middle. Half hour break then around an hour of peer performance - ie playing as a performance for our colleagues - no stopping, no interruptions, no teaching, just full on you!

There will be a varied class - Sam will be introducing a couple of things from his latest foray with Showstopper, including a short and easy way to make up a song within a scene - we have road tested it and it is great! Teresa has offered to bring a couple of lively games that work well for team performances - Freeze tag and Symphony. Cathy will be leading some warm ups, practice on stagecraft and backline support of a scene (from her latest weekender with Showstopper)- ways we can all maximise a confident presence in any scene or song and operate as a team.
In the peer performance, we will choose what you would like to do (beforehand) and we will run the session with pre-chosen back-to-back games, songs, scenes.
If you have a game you would really like to play or perform (we can find you a playmate) then now is your chance!
Not sure if performing is for you? This is a low pressure opportunity to find out with plenty of support and encouragement.
