Love Secrets
Two people, one living room, real time. They love each other, sure, but each of them has a secret. This secret is given by the audience, and will be revealed by the characters during the show. Will love survive? Will it be a dealbreaker? Or will it change things in a new unexpected way?
Fasten your seat belts for a relationship-intense improvised show that will take funny turns, dramatic moments and grotesque twists.

Performers:
Pierpaolo Buzza
Pierpaolo is an Italian improviser, director, author, and actor based in Belgium. He is the Artistic Director of Impro Brussels and the Brussels Shuffle, Belgium’s largest English-speaking improv school and its first international anglophone improv festival. His improv journey began in 2006, and in Rome he founded Trama Libera Tutti, a company known for both short form comedy and grounded, narrative long form.
He has taught and performed in dozens of countries worldwide, and his background in writing and directing—including the play When Time Stands Still, featured at the Roma Fringe and Scripted Toronto festivals—deeply informs his work with narrative, character, and genre. He has mentored improvisers from their first scenes to becoming teachers themselves.
When he’s not improvising, he’s usually cooking Italian food, tending to his plants, obsessing over 90s music, or planning his next improv tour.

Simone Ellul
Simone is a theatre practitioner from Malta with experience in acting, directing and scriptwriting. She has an MFA in Staging Shakespeare from the University of Exeter and a strong background in scripted theatre. She is a member of the improv troupes Playing Dead Theatre, Sabir, the online troupe Close Distance and is one half of the duos Invisible Women and Pairentheses. She was a founding member of the Brussels-based troupe The Ghost Sheep. She has taught at various international festivals and at the ImproBrussels improv school, including at the BrusselsShuffle. In 2022, she organized Improvizza!, Malta's first ever improvisation festival. She is also a certified intimacy director and coordinator, working on various projects for stage and screen. Exploring ways of making intimacy safe for improvisers has led her to develop workshops that allow improvisers to dig deeper in their scenes and express intimacy naturally and safely.
