It's fascinating that something as physical as posture has been influenced by psychology. The way we use our bodies has changed. These days we're hunched over computers, we're sat down a lot, even when we're moving we're in our heads, thinking, worrying or theorizing. We're moving away from our bodies.

So we’re here to shake things up! Your wildly unique and exceptional body allows you to understand, feel, hike, swim, laugh, cry, run, dance, hug and stand. But you can’t do these things well without being connected. A good place to start is looking at your posture.

In this exclusive workshop, we’ll go on a journey to discover some of the secrets behind the body’s design. We’ll look at perfect posture and how it has an impact on overall health. We’ll challenge some long-held beliefs about how to sit and stand. We’ll delve into the art of mindful movement. We’ll see how connecting to your body helps you move closer to a healthier you.

Most importantly, we’ll bring you together with others interested in a common cause: to curiously question how we can show up in the world as more authentic and more connected people.

Who we are
Niek Wulkea is a TRB Certified Educator, Health and Wellness Coach, EBFA Interoception Performance Specialist, CANFITPRO certified Personal Training Specialist, Immunecentric Coach, Functional Pattern HF Practioner and a Molecular Research Scientist. He has over two years experience in the health and wellness industry but far from promoting the standardized messaging associated with the fitness world, Niek has pioneered his own research, learning from experts the world over. Niek holds the belief that the more we can embody ourselves, the more efficiently we can attain true health, and subsequently the more enjoyable the process of life becomes.

Belinda Maude is a mental health personal trainer, certified by CIMSPA & REPs, a former journalist for a UK national newspaper, and an outdoor enthusiast. She retrained as a coach when her love of movement inspired her to spread the message to those struggling with mental heath issues. Belinda believes that deep spirituality comes from a connection to the self. The more we can listen to our intuition, however that shows up, the healthier we become physically and mentally.

What should I wear?
Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. There will be some movement so loose fitting clothes might serve you best.

What should I bring?
We suggest bringing a bottle of water to keep deliciously hydrated.
