The Iliad of Homer, Chapters 1-12 (online only)

In preparation for reading Paradise Lost and Faust in the future, I felt it would be prudent to read Homer to get context for all the mythological references in those books. The Iliad is long, so am breaking it into two parts. If we have enough interest we can do an in-person meetup for part 2, but this will be online only to discuss the poem and reflect on the underlying themes that predict the Savior to come. I am reading the Emily Wilson version and find it very good, though I have no frame of reference on this. Please let me know if you have any suggestions for future meetups, thank you.
