How I Got Angel Funding

Not everyone can claim to have created a unicorn, or had a $300 Million dollar exit. Those stories are great and sometimes make for Hollywood movies, but the reality is on a much smaller scale. They are still $299 million away from that monster exit.

However, you have to start somewhere. InternetFM was able to successfully raise an angel investment outside of friends and family. It took two years of hard work and networking like hell, but they did it.

First time entrepreneurs need not be intimidated by the long odds. InternetFM co-founder Steve Leventhal doesn't have a Stanford MBA. There were no family connections at play here.

Steve will share his story of the twenty-four months of meetings, pitches, networking, and more, that got his company to where it is today. Hopefully that will inspire others to do the same.
