About the speakers

🎤 Erik Kroes
Erik is a seasoned accessibility expert who’s worked with ING, IKEA, WeTransfer, and VodafoneZiggo — just to name a few. He has a passion for making design systems more inclusive and helping large organizations make accessibility a natural part of their workflow.
In his talk, Practical Fixes for Common WCAG Failures, Erik will show four simple tests you can run on your site — and how to fix the issues they reveal. It’s hands-on, interactive, and full of takeaways you can apply right away.

🎤 Nienke de Keijzer
Nienke is a recent graduate of the AUAS, and she’s starting strong. For her graduation project, she completely redesigned the app for Amsterdam’s public transport operator (GVB), putting accessibility at the heart of every decision.
The result? GVB decided to implement all of her recommendations — and they hired her on the spot. This meetup will be her very first time speaking publicly about her work. You don’t want to miss it.
