Rewriting Your Inner Voice: Overcoming Conditioning (+ free book in event)
Details
In this fast-paced 45-minute session, we’ll explore one of the most powerful and least understood forces behind stress, self-doubt and emotional reactivity: conditioning — the internalised voice of parents, caregivers, culture and early experiences.
We grow up absorbing rules, expectations and beliefs that once kept us safe, accepted or “good.” But in adulthood, these conditioned patterns often show up as:
- Overthinking and overresponsibility
- Feeling guilty for resting or saying no
- People-pleasing or perfectionism
- A harsh or critical inner voice
- The sense that you’re “not enough” or constantly falling short
During this session, you’ll learn:
- What conditioning really is (and what it isn’t)
- How early voices become your default reactions under pressure
- How to spot when an old script — not your true self — is running the show
- A simple shift to reconnect with clarity, confidence and your real voice
- A practical experiment you can use immediately in difficult moments
You’ll leave with a fresh understanding of why you respond the way you do — and how to step out of inherited patterns into a more grounded, authentic way of leading and living.
Two of my books talk about this and they are free to download on Kindle 4-6 December. Read the first 2 chapters to get a good understanding.
