Incubator Melbourne – Board Game Playtesting

A friendly Melbourne group for anyone curious about how board games are made. Try new prototype games, share ideas, or just join in and play.

Incubator Melbourne is a regular board game playtesting group based in the Melbourne CBD. We bring together local tabletop game designers and playtesters to share ideas, play unfinished games, and learn from each other in a friendly, low-pressure environment.

Newcomers are very welcome, and no experience is needed. You don’t need to bring a game. You’re welcome to join in and help playtest other designs.

Sessions usually include a mix of short and longer games, with time to introduce designs, gather feedback, and connect with other designers.

This group is community-run and focused on supporting local game design through playtesting and sharing experience.
