World Cinema @ DCU: Grand Tour (Portugal, 2024)
Details
Our next film is Grand Tour (2024) by Portuguese director Miguel Gomes for which he won best director at Cannes. This is a film with a postcolonial message presented in a light-hearted tone with some comedy and romance! It has been described in a review as a "colonial era hide-and-seek" and I think it lives to this description.
This film will be screened in Portuguese with English subtitles.

If you have feedback or recommendations for future screenings, don't hesitate to contact the event organizer.
If you're driving, you can park on campus in DCU Glasnevin's multi-storey car park (detailed info on parking is available here).
